Expected To Open in Early 2023
As we near the end of 2022, we at the Mission are excited the Hardesty Women’s Renew Building is nearing completion.In recent days, landscaping (grass, trees, shrubs) has been installed along with power generators, while interior doors have been hung, walls painted, bathrooms and dorm rooms finished and carpeting installed.The Mission expects the facility to open early in 2023, allowing up to 30 homeless and at-risk women to experience a comprehensive, faith-based recovery program.
The 11,500-square-foot building is immediately adjacent to an existing 40,000-square-foot building that currently houses the Mission's administrative operations. This building, once renovated, will house the Men's Recovery Center (for homeless and at-risk men).
Men's Center Work Continues
With interior demolition work completed, crews have been installing plumbing, electrical, and flooring as well as new bathrooms and showers. When completed (first quarter of 2023), this 40,000-square-foot building will serve as a residential recovery center with beds and program space up to 80 homeless and at-risk men.Following these projects, the Mission will construct a work training/administrative center and a distribution /donations processing building on the site. These are elements of the Mission’s Restore Capital Campaign that was completed in 2021.
When completed, up to 30 women and 80 men will be able to participate in life changing residential programs designed to get people off the streets forever so they can lead healthy, productive lives in our community!
